The Orlando Youth Trumpet Choir or the “OYTC” is an ensemble made up exclusively of high school and middle school trumpet players from the Central Florida area. Students in the OYTC will be exposed to a variety of musical styles, challenged with fantastic transcriptions and original works written for trumpet ensembles, and instructed under some of the best trumpet teachers and performers in the Central Florida area. Students may also get the chance to play variations of the instrument, including flugelhorn and even piccolo trumpet.
