Frederick Blanchard

Rehearsal Assistant

Frederick Blanchard is a vocalist and percussionist. From Palm Bay, Florida. He moved to the Orlando area where he works as a front ensemble instructor for Winter Park and Ocoee high school. As well as a substitute teacher for Orange county public schools where he substitutes for music directors of all programs. 

He is currently finishing his A.A. at Valencia College with plans on pursuing a bachelor's in Music Education and a masters in Orchestral conducting. He is also a member of the Orlando choral society where he sings in the professional choir Voci del cuore and community garden choir. Under the direction of Dr. Jeffery Redding and Ms. Christine Le

He has received his instruction on both percussion and voice from Jeremy Katalenic, Mark baker, Bobby Blum, and Kit Cleto. He has served as music director for the Mu Eta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. And lead numerous masterclasses and clinics at his Alma mater, multiple secondary schools, and community organizations in the percussive and vocal Arts. 

He is excited to be apart of OYCE and looking forward to growing with the students and the organization!
